As anyone in Chicago would know, there was lots of Freezking rain this morning.
At about 7 am, i was driving NB on HWY 53. and i lost control and slammed into a guardrail. Not Cool.

u can see the front end slightly in this pic. Ill post some more pictures later when they become available. Not too sure the extent of the damage because the towing lot closed at 11AM argh

jeez....any reason why it might have lost control? bad tires?

 

the tires werent horrible. but the roads were LITERALLY CAKED with ice. it was really bad.

 

for a minute there when looking at the title, i thought you meant that the motor blew up.

i woulda called in sick or stayed at home....i wrecked a car (spun it two times and hit a curb fucked the car up so bad the back wheel was pushed into the car sideways) so i will never drive on ice ever again...if its too wet and icy i just say i have a bad case of the ***** and stay home.....keep your head up it doesnt look like you have frame damage.....you should be ably to salvage that car out pretty good...oh and on another not those workers dudes might have jacked your **** because they love doing that stuff.. i hate the guys at towing places make a checklist and make sure you get everything back

It rained here last Saturday. EVERYTHING turned into a skating rink. Everyone had to drive nearly half the speed limit everywhere they went. Thats about as worse as it ever gets for road conditions.
