Just curious, because I'm looking to buy one, but dont know if people are giving me legit prices or if they are pull a quick one. Also... any distinguising makes on a 4040 prop valve?

Is there a difference between a DA proportioning valve and DC proportioning valve. Just curious becuase there are lots of DA's in scrap yards, and no DC integras (yet)

I'm pretty sure they are a different shape, and so are the hardlines. I'd love if anyone could give me the stampings on an OBD2 prop valve...

so are there any markings on the 94-01 integra 4040 valve to determine it different from say my civic 3030 valve?

 

i payed about 8 bucks for mine at the junkyard. came off a DA teg. the most noticable visual differance is the 40 40 stamped on the front of it. the DA's have a different mouting bracket on them if you want you can gehtto rig it to go on a civic (1bolt instead of 3) or you can swap the brackets, you need a large star face screw driver with a hole in the center.
