Default Fair price for a '99 GS-R?

My roommate's thinking about selling his '99 GS-R. Green with tan leather, only 25,000 miles, bone stock. Never any mods on the car. Routine oil changes with Mobil 1, etc...

KBB retail says $20,425. Now, I know there's no way in hell someone will pay that much for a '99. But what sort of numbers should he expect? Anyone sold a GS-R recently?

I have basically his exact same car, except a 00, and I wouldnt expect more than 17000 for my car if I sold it.

I have a 98 white GSR with 32k miles, just with simple bolt ons and upgraded stereo. I doubt if I can get 13k for it.

Did you buy your GS-R from a dealer or individual?

i bought my 99 GSR PERFECT condition back at the end of july for 16.5...If I remember correctly the dealer retail value was around 20g and bluebook value buying from a private party was around 18g. I bought mine from a stockbroker...its the ****.

I was curious about the same thing and I figured $16-$16.5K easily. Trade in would be like $15K though.

The green is a nice color. The ladies LOVE it
If I had to guess, I'd say clover green GSR's are likely one of the rarest trim/color combos out there. I have seen only ONE other like mine, whereas I see all of the others frequently, including ITRs.
