Torque the movie, K, havent seen it yet but from only the previews alone look so unbeliveably stupid!! Riding on train tracks, forest and doing a backflip in the middle of a city!! wow. sounds great. anyone seen it yet? what did ya think.

I hate this, I desperatly dont want to see it, but I have to cuz its -30 degrees here and I need my fix!!!

 

Just went to see it. I loved it. It's just a movie.

If you want real ****, turn on MotoGP or go watch a Documentary. It was more entertaining than watching my Suspension for Mortals DVD I got from a friend for damn sure.

Torque is just a movie is just a movie is just a movie.

 

the sad thing about this is all you people who "hate" the movie still buy the ticket. And you wonder why all this crap keeps being made.

There is supposed to be a movie coming out soon about Valentino Rossi called "Faster". It's about his life and how he got where he is today. Now that's worth the money.

 

The only good part about the movie was the beginning, canyon roads. I hate winters.

It doesn't center on Vale. It is an insider look into the world of MotoGP, but there's a lot of attention paid to Garry McCoy and John Hopkins. There's also some tidbits about the change from 2stroke 500cc engines to 4stroke 900cc engines.

The movie is/was shown at the International Motorcycle Show, but supposedly the DVD will be coming out in March.

With regards to Torque, the main reason that the movie is made to "suck" is because the movie is geared towards the general public. It's meant to tantalize and glorify the world that "bikers" live in. It's just like FnF - meant for public consumption. If they made a movie that truly made our hearts beat faster, most likely it would flop in the theaters because there wouldn't be enough people watching it.

Yeah the whole concept of torque is used in bikes, but not as important, so I dont know why they would chose that as the title. Can someone give a reason?
