would you replace your heater core your self or....

Default would you replace your heater core your self or....

....would you do it your self? or have some shop do it for you? i need to get a new one and let my car defrost and sheit at night or in the morning.... its cant be that hard.. take off dash, take out the whole heater assembly.... then just pop it all back in...? anyone know of a how to in a EG civic. thanks

Dl or buy a shop manual fro your car and do it.it's not hard,just kind of time-consuming.take your time and it'll be fine....first,i'd make sure that's definately your problem though.

Its basically the first thing installed in the dash and the last thing you can get to, its not hard as stated above just very very time consuming.

ive done it before.. very time consuming and pain in the ***.. diy and save the money all you need is a basic tool kit and a set of extra hands sometimes when removing the dash.

ey for all you guys who have done it. how hard was it really to get the dash off??

and can i drive around town with out a dash.... i mean so i can replace my heater core and **** and drive without my dash on?....i dont think ill need my dash but i dont know anything.... and yeah its my heatrcore... i have it by passed under the engine cause i had it the regular way...and it hellllla leaked....im 99.9% sure its my heater core... thanks for the opnions guys

yea you can drive around town w/out the dash.. i did it for a couple days while i was waiting for my heater core to come in the mail when i did my integra dash.. i even pluged in my cluster so i had that working good and jst set it up on the steering colum support
