Default 96-98 interior ?

in the 96-98 civics, did any of them come with black interior (dash, ect ...) i know they came in gray but i want BLACK!

I don't think they came black, but mine came really dark grey which looks black at night. I think dark grey only came in dx's, but I could be totally wrong.

nope... dark grey or charcoal grey(code K) was the darkest

CTR dashes are black, but they are RHD so =/ no USDM dashes are black, just grey.

hmm ... would the 96-98 climate control fit into the 99-00 dash?? and would anyone happen to be selling their gray dash and door panels by chance

i have the same problem, i want black and its a pain in the **** trying to get the paint to look right. I found that flat black looks the least cheesy, glossy always looks "painted", just my opinion though, good luck

i dunno about the paint thing, i've never seen it but i don't think it would look right. i've talked to a guy that does restoration for old classic cars, he can re-vinyl it for me, but its alot of money kinda.

seen it done with glossy black it looks good
cuz the guy who did it, knew what he was doing looked like his interior was just glossed up with some of that meguiars stuff and it was kinda nice
still could see the vinyl lines n everything

dont paint it i believe they make dye for this which would absorb and show the natural texture someone has to know where to get interior dye?
