Can anyone tell me what bulb goes in the JDM type-r fog lights? I've had my conversion done for a year now and it didn't come with the bulbs so I have no clue what kind goes in.

 

most Honda fog lamps use H3. It doesn't have a plastic base like conventional bulbs and has a 'pigtail' terminal on it.

search for it...bulb is h3

 

H3, that's it? is it common in the USA? I went and looked at a few auto shops around here and didn't find anything that looked like they would fit, but of course all I knew was the positive was on a plug and the negative is aorund the bulb.

I will look for H3 and see what I can find.

I do know the US Integra type-r fog lamp doesn't fit, neither do the 99-00 civic fog lamps.

 

the old DA fog lights use the same one. try looking at a junk yard or "speed shop"
