I went to a local recyling station that a friend had told me about. It was after they had closed but you can still roll up to the scale and peak through the window. I arrived and checked to see it was zero'd out. It was. I stood on the scale and my buddy checked to see if it was accurate. It was. Me and my buddy made a little wager on how much are cars would weigh. I said 3200 for him and he said 2600 for me. I told him "dude its a dx its a lot lighter than the ex and si"
He still insisted that it was a 2600pound car. Damn DSM guys. Well he rolled up to the scale and i peaked through the window and his 95elcipse gsx was 3200. I rolled up and i was 2320. Not bad for a swap and a little weight reduction and some heavy 17inch rims.

noo, its much heavier than that. EX coupes are pretty chunky

that seems light for an EX.......but my EG only weighs 2040 with a 12" sub in a ported box.......thats like 45 pounds.....

im going to be getting some lighter rims that about about 10.5 pounds lighter than the rims i have on right now so i should be around 2278lb

 

I think 92-95 ex coupes weigh between 2450 and 2600 pounds, I think. what did you do to your coupe to make that lite.

 

well stock its 2359 pounds.....but im shure with the swap it added some weight.

carbon hood and fully gutted from the front seats back....soon to have light weight wheels

i just weighed it again with a full tank and it was 2360 instead of 2320
