Default which struts?

i'm fixing to upgrade from the stock struts. i was wondering what do guys recommend? i dont wanna spend over $250 for the set. so far i've found tokico hp and kyb gr-2. which one of these would be better or is there another thats better than those? i'm prolly gonna pick up some h&r race springs to go with them.

Stay away from the race springs unless you're going to get quality adjustables!

I would'nt get anything less then Illuminas or Yellows with the race springs because the springs are far to sprung for OTC shock settings.

Save and do it right the first time. You're definitly gonna hate yourself and your ride quality if you get race springs with non-adjustables...

Just about any other spring BUT the RACE springs. They are ultra stiff! Sportlines or a prokit would do just fine, as well as some nuespeed streets, depending on how low you want to get. From personal experiance the prokit is a very nice ride. Firm but yet forgiving, perfect for the average street ride.

The "race" springs are a diff story though. You better like a ultra firm/harsh ride, and want nothing but performance out of the springs because that is what you get..

When H&R says "not for use on public roads" they mean it! Of course that didn't stop me because I don't give a rat's *** about comfort...

Get some Koni sports and some nice springs . Do it right the first time like he said.
I have progress springs and they drop it pretty low. But if you have nice struts you will have nothing to worry about. I had tokico blues but they suck and I had to upgrade.

just like the others said, do it right. even if ur using lowering springs, you will go through cheap shocks fairly quick. do it right the first time. buy some koni
