Default Replacement Oxygen Sensors

I'm trying to seek an alternative to paying $200-300..

I'm aware of http://www.prostreetonline.com...nsors

As well of unversal fit http://discountoxygensensors.c...88612 and i'm leaning towards that, but what needs to be done to make universal fit work?

When i searched for "oxygen sensor" through honda parts store, some results were as cheap as $49. but i don't know if it will work.

I'm leaning towards universal fit, but what needs to be done to make it work? and where to buy one for a good price?

IF you are nice to the honda dealers they are sometimes nice to give you one. I have seen it happen...

you get what you pay for..... unfortunately.

i've heard some bad experiences w/ non-stock or non-oem or universal fit O2 sensors on hondas.

any specific brand? oem is made by denso, the ones in the pictures (discountoxygensensors.com) look very much like denso, but made by bosh.

i'm only looking for new options.

http://www.pickproparts.com/ sells denso, from what it seems, universal is the same sensor minus plug-n-play harness..

I'd rather get an O2 sensor of junked integra at a salvage yard than get a universal one.

Just wondering what bad experiences you've heard with universal or non-OEM o2 sensors. There's a user called enthusiastauto that always has NGK/NTK o2 sensors for sale for around $90 shipped. I think you can find his posts on groupbuycenter and in the sponsor marketplace forum. I'll probably be getting a primary one from him.

I'm not sure how much else you want to know?

I've seen this on more than one honda. I Bet a junkyard unit is less $$$ than the universal anyways. Not worth damaging the engine to save a few dollars.

used sensors can be damaged, or have too many miles (they wear down with milage) - stuff i dont want to worry about.. in this post i hope to learn about other options out there (new), whatever facts i can gather. if i don't, then i'll have to go for new denso plug/play sensor.
