Difference Between Toda Bs & C's?
Does anyone have any experience with Toda Spec. B and C Camshafts? What perfmormance gain would I get if I used Cs instead of Bs in a 95 GSR all-motor application? Also, could anyone tell me the powerband difference between the two?T.I.A.
Don't bother putting in Toda Spec C's if you're not running high compression pistons, some kind of fuel system upgrade, and have a crazy header. The B's are probably better overall. I run spec B's in my Integra Type R (stock block, pistons, rods, header and tranny) and I hit consistent 12.9's at a little more than 104MPH in the 1/4 mile.

Hey Incognito, you have some very impressive 1/4 ET and trap! How much power are you putting to the ground? 12.9 ET is a very impressive run, but I want to know your setup in detail. Is your motor truly stock with the exception of TODA spec B's? What slicks were you using, and what was your breakdown of your run?

The C's won't work well with stock compression or engine management. The B's are way better for a stock B18C1 (you'll need the Type R inner and outer valve springs for the intake and exhaust.)
