http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/.../AE86
this is a 1986 hatchback RWD corolla, AE86, sr5 model with 5 speed manual transmission. clean title, body and interior is super clean. red exterior perfect condition interior is black very clean no cracks on dash and have the special carbon fiber style door pannel, the car have power steering, sun roof stock corolla alloy rims, cruise control heater and a/c brand new seat cover and leather B&M leather shift **** etc etc. The car no longer runs because of a blown head gasket i got a estimate of $350 to fix but most people would buy this car and swap in a sr20, 13b, or even a s2000 swap 4age any way. the transmission is in perfect condition. i just bought a new car so i no longer need this car first person show me 1000 cash take it. i can get it towed any where with in 50 miles for only 100 bucks i am located in sacramento, CA my # is 707-628-7886 if you have any questions

What motor is in this thing? Looks like some kind of carbed SOHC motor?

sr5 = slow ***
less than 100 hp
blown SR5's are worth around $250-500

the SR5 or AE85 is a sohc motor..really the best Corolla to purchase for those years are the GTS DOHC models..since you may get lucky and get the OEM LSD with the purchase..

Default decent purchase...

personally, i think this would be a great purchase for someone with cash and time on their hands. i think it would be more exciting and probably easier to put a 7m or 3s engine in than a lot of the other stuff out there. i don't think they're that slow either; my friend bought an 85 sr5 last year (i think 86 was the first FI year), and it can move pretty well.

Yea, I thought the SR5's had 4AGE's in them. That definately isn't a 4AGE in this car.
