do you guys know what would be the best tranny for this motor either it be a 88-89 crx si tranny or a 90+ crx si tranny. and what would be a good clutch to upgrade to when i start this swap?

i'd say put an ls engine.... it's too hard to find parts for the zc... even the timing belt is too hard to find... but if you still want to do the zc both of the trannies should work the same...

 

Personalyl I would never buy an engine off of ebay, I'd get it from a legit source. I got mine from http://www.hmotorsonline.com and so have many other people on here. As for which tranny, I'd use the 90-91 Si for simplicity and gearing. And as for parts to find its easy, the timing belt is the old 2.0 Si Prelude...if you cant find parts your not looking.
