if you have the money..

Koni yellow is the best shock yet..imho

Koni red is better than agx and illumina

i would do a custom spring rate eibach spring ground control coilover along with koni yellow

KYB AGX aren't available for the 6th Gen.

If you're not going to participate in any track events, or auto-x, then you don't really need to have Koni Yellows. But if you've got the money, go for it.

Because I just needed a shock to support a 2" drop from my Sportlines, I settled with Tokico Blues.

Koni yellows are the best, I have a set on my 94 ex with skunk2 springs (not the coil overs, just the lowering springs) real nice ride, 2.5 inch drop.

Edit: I would recommend springs over fake coilovers, everyone I know with fake coil overs has a crappy ride.

polished shaft, check if it's bent or not, check for gas/oil leak, put the shaft down and see how it response.

No money for Tein's? I think after u get springs and new struts your already up at the same price range. The Tein basic damper is already at like 600 and if u get some springs and some new struts its gonna run you at least 600 already, that is if u get some nice struts. from my calculations springs are like 200 for nice ones and struts are like 400, tokico illuminas. Id say if you want the Tein bling factor save up and get the Tein's. Dropping 600 at once just makes it seem more expensive to the mind.

i have those cheesy fake coilovers, and let me tell you, in NJ there is a fair share of potholes, you can feel the bump in your teeth, so think of that...thats first, i have Koni red's, can anyone suggest what spring would go best with those, i am looking for optimum ride quality? thanks guys! ! !

two thing you never buy:
used internals % used suspension parts.

i would save and get the stuff new. its kinda hard to test a shock when its outta the car.

i have kyb agx and nuespeed race springs. decent ride and great hanlding.
im switching to skunk2 coils though. rougher ride and even better halding.

if you got the money get koni yellows (kyb agx being the next beat IMO)
and ground control coils. ( for a comfortable ride)
skunk2 for the best ahndling
