I was 4 when I started riding..

9 yrs old on dirt bikes...first road bike i rode was a 1976 kawasaki 500 or someting along those lines at 17, and then 19 i got my first streetbike (99 ZX-7).

 

Never road dirt bikes until last year. Started riding street at 16.

 

I was on a 75cc dirtbike at 9.

 

Around the age of 10

 

i got my first bike for my 4th birday.. crashed it into a fence on my first ride and was scared to ride it.. then i finally started riding again when i was 6 and have been ever since

 

damn i wish my parents woulda let me have a dirtbike at such an early age. I got a fiddy when i was like 12 or something. Took forever to convince my mom too (didnt even ask the dad).

 

19 :x Just got into the it this year after purchasing my bike.

my dad was pissed when i wouldnt ride and called me a ***** haha. im glad he finally convinced me though.. its my favorite sport, nothing beats it

When I was 10 or 11 I rode a 50 at my cousins house in california.

he had a hand made track in the back of his house with twisties, a couple jumps, and "Dead Man's Ditch" which basically consisted of a wall dirt wall going around a corner at a 45 (give or take) degree angle.

Major fun, wish I would have known how to shift gears because he never told me it was a 2 speed automatic and I wasted 2 whole days riding it with a top speed of like 14mph.

On the 3rd and last day we were there I took it into second gear and went off his 4 foot dirt jump at approx 22mph (or whatever the top speed of a 50 is). I almost lost control of the bike landing but otherwise fun as hell.

12 or 13

 

lets see i was..... 5 rode once on a friends 60cc

then when i was 9 i started up again on a 125

 

I was 5 on a little yamaha 50cc. I got the little yamaha for $30 and it was only a couple years old when i got it.

 

I was 6 or 7 riding a Elsinore 125 ! Yeah dumb kids...

We used to steal my friends older bothers bike and sometimes we got caught ( bad) but still fun...

 

8 years old. now the big cr 500 pwns me.
