94 Accord Coupe??
ok yall i know its a lost cause..but what can i do to my accord to make it somewhat faster...i know my 18's arent helpin..but there Racing Harts...but anything...i got intake and exhaust..had headers but got rid of them...anything that will give me a conciderably about of hp?? NO NOS!! haha...2.2L SOHC...part of my problem?? help?!?!
get a new set of headers, cam gear, and an Apex V-AFC... with increased flow from your I, H, & E, your ECU overcompensates... so by using a V-AFC and leaning out your air/fuel ration at certain RPMs, you'll see and feel noticable power increases... also, with a cam gear, retard your timing a bit... you'll lose a little low end, but gain considerable high end (about 5500)...
Ah, you can use the Apexi's S-AFC then, it's a fuel air controller without the VTEC control.
Pullies and a lightweight flywheel will free up some horsies too.

sorry, i missed the fact that you didn't have VTEC... but an Apex SAFC will suffice nevertheless....
as for an ignition upgrade, don't bother... it's a waste of money for our cars... you won't be producing enough power to need an upgraded ignition system... trust me...

Yeah you'd only need a beefed up ignition for a really dense intake charge, like a turbo application. Otherwise, the stock ignition is just fine for modest N/A engines.
