Full integra suspension on an eg..
I see many posts about swapping shocks and springs from a 94-01 teg onto an eg, or the brake conversion, but not many people talk about sway bars. I ask my friends around here and they don't seem to be into it either. I'm curious as to how many people have swapped a full suspension setup from an ls, gsr... onto an eg that came without either sway bar originally, and what they think. I tried searching many times, came up a little short. Thanks guys.

94-01 integra swaybars are fully compatible with EG suspension. You just need to use either 92-95 Si/EX or any 94-01 integra FR lower control arms, because they have the mounting hole for a swaybar.
GSR & Type-R swaybars use an upside-down "L" shaped endlink for the swaybar, whereas LS & Si/EX swaybars use a straight "I" shaped endlink for the swaybar. Just make sure that you get the proper endlinks with whichever swaybar you go with. It will fully bolt up to your EG chassis as long as you have the all of hte mounting hardware (endlinks & D shaped bushings/brackets).
As for the rear swaybars, you can fully slap a GSR/LS RR sway bar onto your EG as well. Just get all of the parts for it, including the rear lower control arms from an 94-01 integra and you'll be set. A type-R RR sway bar mounts a little differently than a regular GSR/LS, if you want more info on this, let me know...I have a write up on it somewhere on the Hybrid website forum.

katman knows his stuff
i have a 2001 gsr full suspension and swaybars. the front i swapped with a type-r which wont fit now cause of h-series cables. i like the setup. its as lot of work but worth it

Thanks guys, especially katman I really appreciate the info. As soon as I read my own post I noticed it didn't come out so clear, but I meant to ask mainly what people think of the difference after doing such a suspension swap. I was aware that the two are interchangeable, and it seems like a must for the future, I couldn't believe these things don't have either sway bar from the factory, no wonder they don't turn =]. Thanks again.

ah, i beg to differ...
if the guy changes his master cylinder & booster to that of a 94-01 integra's he'll notice a night/day difference with his braking even with his civic brakes. And as far as the swaybars go, well you just need to know how your car feels when it turns, such as in road racing. Adding the sway bars to my own ride, i felt a big difference when handling turns, my car rotates way better now as to not rotating at all w/no swaybars.
I guess you just need to "know" your car; how it feels (suspension wise) to notice the differences.

front brakes do 85% of the work. drum brakes may be biased differently though. in my opinion drum brakes are the farthest thing from a performance oriented braking system. they disperse heat rediculously slow, dust collects within the drum...it is an economy system 100%

on the G-tech my 92 4-door DX civic (rear drums) 60-0 was 129 feet not to shabby for a shitty *** setup.. that was with 150lbs of audio equip in the trunk
havent tested since the B18b went in.. i think i'm going to get the rest of the stuff out of the Teg my engine came from (control arms.. sway.. seats... ) hopefully cheap!
