I need to get my american - Europe CRX names straight.

Europe
CRX "Ed9" 124hk D16A9 engine
CRX "EE8" 150hk B16A1 engine

does anyone know the technical names for these two in america?

I dont think that those engines came stock in a North American CRX. I know that the B16 definately didnt.

they were never sold in america

what is hk also?

the ed9 d16a9 has 130ps and ee8 b16a1 has 150ps

There's also a ED9 in Europe with a D16Z5 engine. It produces 124Hp/96KW. Non Vtec 1,6L Dohc 16V.

North America NEVER got those two engine in ANY CRX, No DOHC CRX's here.
The D16A9 would be equivalent to the JDM CRX Si W/ 1.6L ZC DOHC non-VTEC engine.
The EE8 would be equivalent to the the JDM CRX SiR.
