Default Sunroof on an HF?

I read somewhere that only the Si's came with sunroofs. I have an Hf and it has a sunroof. What the hell?

If the VIN starts JHMED8 your car did NOT come with a factory sunroof. Period. End of disscusion. ONLY the Si's have a FACTORY POWER sunroof!
However someone could've put one in after the fact.

just curious, are you sure that you have an hf? just wondering because it could be the dx which does come with a factory sunroof. everything else is pretty much the same as the hf except for that and the engine.

I've never seen a DX with a factory sunroof. Show us pics and we can help you out!

<--- Also has an '89 Hf with a sunroof.

They're most definitely aftermarket.

Also, Hf's will have a 2 spoke steering wheel making them easy to ID from the Si's and Dx's 3 spoke wheel.

I asked this question on Hondahookup.com way back when I first got the car because I was doing the same wtfing, and that is the answer I got. No matter how stock the sunroof itself looks it's pretty easy to tell it's aftermarket when you check the wiring.

Yep, its an Hf. My vin stats with JHMED8. Its not a sliding sunroof like the SI's but rather a pop up sunroof with hinges. I guess it is an aftermarket one. However I just bought a replacement sunroof off of ebay. The seller claims it will fit any crx. Makes me wonder if it will fit now. I doubt all aftermarket sunroofs are the same for the CRX. I'll wait and see if it will fit.

That sunroof is a fraud. Original my ***. You should retract your bid due to false advertising.
