Default 93 h22a into 97 accord se

I have an automatic. I cant get my p13 ecu to run correctly with my transmission and the v-tec wont work. I am only getting 2nd and 4th gear with the p13. I am currently running the accord computer so I have all of my gears. What can I do to fix this problem. Am I going to have to change the transmission computer?

Let me get this straight...You are running a 93 h22 with an auto tranny from your accord or h22 jdm auto. And you are using the accord auto ecu? I would definately change it out for a manual tranny assuming your running an manual tranny ecu.

Another thing are you using the p13 manual or auto ecu?

The other thing you could try to do would use a jdm p13 auto ecu obd 1 and get a Jumper harness ob2=ob1 then try to see if that works. But i'm not sure it would work very good since i dont know if you are using accord or auto tranny.

I am using the H22A tranny. I have a p13 ecu. It's supposed to be an auto ecu but I am not sure. I have the obd-I to obd-II conversion harness. I think that maybe the p13 ecu isnt matching up with the accord tranny computer correctly. I have also heard to rewire the tranny comp. takes a whole lot of work. when I have the p13 hooked up I also have the accord shift points and the accord rev-limiter(6500 rpm) I'm thinking if I run a 97 prelude ecu(auto) with the auto tranny computer then that should fix my problem. But once again just a theory.

your problem is most likey you have whatevery one else has a manual conversion harness, when you go obd2 to 1

you have to split your tranny and ecu up:

one tcu and plugs and a ecu and plugs

obd2- controls both tranny and ecu
obd1 two seperate units and computers

why it near impossible to do the auto like that, unless you rewire all kind of BS
