headlight question [4th gen]
Ok so I am new to all of this, can someone please explain what this means?
"9005 Sylvania Coolblue in the low beams and 9005 Stockers in the high."
Does that recommendation sound better than just buying 4 9005 Silverstars and doing a conversion? What is a Stocker? Is that another Sylvania model?

Hi welcome to H-T
in a 4th gen your highs are indeed 9005 but your low beams are 9006..i would do sylvania for both
or just cough up the cash grow some nuts and go HID..

okay stocker=stock's stuff=the shitty blub(shitty color but long lasting) that come with the car from factory, just some car slang
sylvania is a brand, they made pretty good product with an affordable price.
coolblue is a series of white headlight blub, they are little too yellow for my taste.
the stock lowbeam use a 9006 blub, but you could stick a 9005 blub(brighter) in the 9006 low beam housing with a little modification to the blub. nothing hard or rocket science
9005 or 9006 is the size of the blub, you'll get some h4 and h3 if you drive a lude/civic..
here some hints: dont use coolblue, they are not as bright/blue/cool
as silverstar, look for silverstar in autozone or kragen.
9005 silverstar in low beam=bang for the buck
just ask any questions, dont forget not to touch the blub itself, oil would cause the blub is..well, blow up

HID!!!!!!!!!!
but i will say, if going halogen, silverstars are you best bet. i had 9006 bulbs before i got HID. then i went to buy some 9005 silverstars for high beams, so the color would match the HID, but nope, really yellow. but if you have silverstars, they will look white, but next to HID, look yellow.
