Default any one have any directions on taking off the alt. pulley

i need to know how to take off the alt. pulley while the alt. is still in the car. I'm going to be replacing the alt. pulley with a aem one and i would like to leave the alt in the car if possible. Also this is for a DOHC ZC and i also need to know what tools are involved. Thanks

No, you don't need to remove the axle. Some people say that you can some how manuever it out from underneath, but I couldn't do it myself; so instead I removed the master cylinder from the brake booster in order to pull it out from the top.

Pretty simple.

you can pull it from the bottom...i have done it with a buddy of mine. just need to get jiggy with it and it comes out. Or you can do what MrTodd did i hear that works great too.

Sounds to me like your kinda new to the whole working with tools thing so i would say buy a helms for your car that will tell you almost everything you need to know about the car and what tools are needed as well.

good luck.

Take off the lower alt braket and it comes out real nice. Anything else is really unnecessary.

Trust me.
