Default *questions about zc swap*

i have a 91 crx that i am putting a zc motor, tranny, and ecu in. i need to know which cv axles and what kind of clutch i need to get. if someone who has already done this swap, or is educated on the process could let me that would be amazing. if there is anything else that you think i need to know that i'm not asking about feel free to post that too...help is always appreciated. THANKS!

youll need 90-93 integra axels WITHOUT ABS so get 90 just to be sure. as far as clutch , find out what year tranny you have. if you have an 89+ you can use any clutch from a crx si for that year. if its an 88 then youll need an 88 crx si kit. the reason is the trannys have different spline counts. use a PM6 CRXSI ecu , a PG7 89 acura integra works better, an the JDM PM7 is the best but rarest. head over to THEZCR.com. excellent site with a COMPLETE parts list an lots of other info. let me know if you have any other questions

You can either depin/repin or solder wires together. You can depin the connector you have and repin it to match or just grab a female connector from an Si dizzy, wire up the 5 wires you need color for color to the male plug of the ZC harness. Then you can just plug that connector into the ZC dizzy. You'll have 2 wires that you didnt use from the extra Si connector, these go to the exhaust cam sensor.

Go here for the writeup/pics. Its what I did. http://www.geocities.com/civiczc/zcwire.html
