intake questions for 91 CRX/B16...yes i searched
1. my friends with crxs/b16 all have the iceman intake and it is a beautiful design, with the velocity stack (decreasing diameter) but i have a concern that since it was designed for the d series motor, the size of the tubing at the TB might be too small. has anyone noticed this???
2. i have been looking at ebay intakes because i am trying to save some money, but i have heard that their intake diameter is 2.5" and i want a 3". does anyone know about this?
3. also i have recently seen a stock airbox (on H-T) from a 92-95si/ex in a crx and i have been entertaining the idea of using the b16 intake tube with this box and gutting the box and using a drop in k&n. does anyone know exactly which car/year/trim this box is from?
let me know what you think and i appreciate any information you have to share.
thanks.

just get any intake, and you will prolly have to get a smaller batter or relocate it so that the piping will have somewhere to go. Im not sure but i think 2.5 inch will be fine enough.
The K&N drop in isn't a bad idea either-but im not sure if you will get the cool intake noise with that if you keep the accordian style tubing and the air box.
I would just by some cheap piping off of ebay and get a k&n cone filter and clamp it on the end.
