Default SAFC VAFC SAFC2? which should i get

Im doing a turbo lude project. I am completely aware of the crappy ringlands and the sleeve problems under boost. But i want to do only 6 or 7 pounds and eventually get it sleeved with new rods and pistons. I have DSM injectors and i heard the SAFC 2 has a "knock sensor" which throws a red flag if your car starts to lean out or knock. is this true? and how well does that work? which should i go with SAFC SAFC2 or VAFC. I dont plan on touching my Vtec right away but possibly in the future.
Thanks for the help
I love this forum

Well, if you have a vtec motor, wouldn't you want vtec control?

I wasnt aware of a VAFCII Does that have all the new sensors of the SAFCII? like the knock sensor? I know i have a Vtec motor. But i dont plan on lowring when my Vtec kicks in. I like it at 5200RPMs. What i would like to know the most is anyone aware of that so called "knock sensor" and when it goes off does that mean its already to late?

Not entirely true. It all depends on the motor and type of mods it has. Certain cams liked to have vtec come in earlier. For instance I 've seen that stock cams in a H22 liked to have vtec come in at around 4,400-4,600 rpm.

But in regards to the original post... V-AFC2
