Get them anyplace that sells harnesses.

All cars use the same thread on the seat belt bolts. (at least Nader did one thing right)

The eyebolts that came with my Willans were 7/16 NF threads - not metric. I have spares if anyone needs them.

Do you mean to hold the eye bolt? I just stuck a 3/8 socket extension through the eye and turned it until it hit something to hold it in place.

Does that mean you want the eyebolts? I want to be clear that they will NOT thread into your OE holes - at least I think they won't.

I got my eye-bolts from Pegasus, I believe, but they fit my OE threaded holes. They were from England, as I recall.

I used them to hold my OE shoulder harness in, but allowed me to clip my 4-point system in.

the bolts i got with my sparco harnesses were 7/16 - 20 and they threaded into my OE locations on the prelude.

home depot has 7/16 - 20 bolts but not eye bolts...

NO. These are forged pieces that are way tougher than home store junk. Do this - get a 7/16 NF bolt and see if it threads into your hole. It should be easy. If it does, email me at kirk.knestis@evaluand.com and I'll send a pair to you for the cost of shipping.

7/16th inch is confermed NOT to fit, i repeat, does NOT fit

the standard 7/16 pitch FORGED eyebolt is not supposed to fit in the stock seat bolt anchors. youre supposed to drill your own holes in the chassis.

I have had correct eyebolts provided by harness manufacturers fit in the OE holes on Mazdas and VWs but don't remember now if that was because (a) the bolts were metric, or (b) the holes were SAE (for whatever wacky reason).

Take the OE bolts out of your car to the hardware shop and keep trying nuts until you get a fit...

i heard someone say 7/16" x 20 does the 20 mean the length of the bolt or the length inbetween the threads? if the 2nd one is true, then i might have just bought the wrong bolt

"20" is the pitch of the thread - the number of threads per inch. That thread is sometimes called 7/16 NF - or "national fine" I believe.

I have four of those eyebolts and will send you two** for the cost of packing and shipping BUT I want to make sure that they work for you first. Let me know what you learn from your next test.

K

** I'm funny like this but the other two would be dependent on an explanation of how you are planning on using them. I used to sell safety equipment and my conscience won't let me participate in something like bolting shoulder belts to the floor behind a seat with no rollcage.

the way i'm bolting it is the sholder straps will cross X on the back then attach to the rear driverside passenger seat belt mounting points and the lap belt will go to the stock locations.

i've checked it out, that's the safest... so can i get all 4 then? if my test works

You checked it out, and the safest way to mount a harness is to cross the shoulder straps to the floor in the rear?

oops, sorry

not to the floor, but to the rear seat belt mouting points

(not a honda, it's a ford mustang, but you get the point)

i want to take out those two stock bolts and replace them with the eyelet bolts so the entire system is removable

and about crossing them, i'd have my right sholder belt connected to the bolt closest to the door, and my left sholder belt connected to the other bolt (near the center of the seat).

and the lap belt would go to the stock locations (on driver's seat, and the other on the pillar on the floor)
