To be honest the car is not in perfect condition (its not a show car) and the engine has been raced on. I believe his Dad is including the Nitrous Kit that was used.

If I wasnt poor and stupid I'd try and help out his family by buying it too.

Theres ALSO the possibility of someone taking OVER the payments (through B of A). The loan still owes $4,800...I believe you could refinance his loan and get rates that suit your credit. Otherwise $4,000 cash would suffice, I imagine.
