Anyone heard any info on 2002 S2K MSRP pricing?

I was at a local dealer yesterday and they swore that it was going to be $36,000. I'm guessing that is with their markup but I am not sure. They were asking $31,000 for a 2000 with 16,000 miles. I test drove it and the oil drain plug FEEL OUT on the test drive. Needless to say there was no purchase. I can't imagine Honda bumping the price up that much.

I don't know about these days but back in March, I coulda gotten brand new S2k for MSRP(like 32k). I think you just gotta go to the right dealer and also be patient. People here can probably help you better in specific to where you live.
