Default Removing fiberglass molded bodykit

Im thinking about buying a crx but it has a wings west fiberglass bodykit thats molded on but it is all crooked. The front bumper has a major gap. How hard is it to remove a bodykit that is molded on. Should i pass this crx up or is it easy to bring the crx back to oem

it depends on how it was molded on and the strong the hold is the harder to get it off

i would take it put but i got experience with that stuff
find someone that does body work in your town as a side job and maybe they will hook it up for cheap if you don't wanna try it
always a good learning point but it all depends on how much you gonna buy the car for
good luck

P>S> got any pics of the car?

Is it molded all the way around? sides and rear too?

That'll be some work but it can be done... if its just the front, I say get a jdm front end conversion or pick up some fenders and a bumper.

sides and rear are molded and front also. The rear bumper is the only thing i would keep on since its molded perfectly

I was thinking of getting jdm front end conversion because i can deal with rest of bodykit molded on but just not the front since its cracked and a sorry job of lining up the bumper. But if i were to do that then i would have to remove the side skirts to put on the jdm fenders.

your going to put more work in that car than its worth.. stick w/ the kit and buy it or pass it along to someone else to deal w/..

PLUS who knows what that kit is hiding underneath.. (rust-rot-damage)
