Rage Custom Alloy wheels - any info?
Rage Custom Alloy wheels – do they make their own wheels or are they made by another company (e.g. Motegi = American Racing : Rage = ????)
Do they have a Web site? If they do I can't find it. I haven't heard anything bad about these wheels, and I can get them dirt cheap. I know Discount Tire Direct sells them.
Any more info on Rage wheels? I was thinking of getting the Rage Euros for myt 98 EX coupe ...

They guy from Discount Tire said that they were made by the Ultra corp. I've heard of and seen Ultra wheels (not the inline skates
) before. However I went on what appeared to be Ultra's website and they make no mention of Rage.

Yeah, they defintely aren't listed there, but that doesn't mean they don't make them. I know Discount Tire gets certain wheels made just for them to sell from comapnies like Enkei and Konig. There are the brands listed on Ultra's site:
Arelli Alloy Wheels
Edelbrock
Focal
Platinum
Sport Metal
Ultra Wheel

They look nice and they are inexpeisive - if that's what you need, then those would be nice.
I bet they're heavy as hell though, but if you like the looks and don't mind the weight then why not buy them?

Actually the Euros are only 15.6 lbs. which, although aren't necessarily "lightweight," aren't terribly heavy, either. These wheels might be replacing my old 15" TSW EVOs which are well over 16 lbs, I believe.

just watch, some of the "cheaper" wheel companys are prone to bend a little easier then some of the more quality wheel companies. yes i do believe they are made by ultra wheels.
