This started its life as a 1985 International school bus. The previous owner bought it two years ago and installed a replacement engine and shell. He used it to tow a sprint car. These are his pictures. I'll try to get some more, and some of the interior soon.
There are two single (bunk) beds on one side, and a double bed over the driver. There is a sink, toilet, shower, water tanks (clean/waste/hot) - but the plumbing was never run for the fresh water. There is also a small gas range (that has also never been hooked up).
It's not really an RV and shouldn't be bought as such... it would make a good tow vehicle though.
The brakes are excellent, and could probably throw you through the front window. The pumps for the air brakes were just recently replaced. The engine... well, it runs well for what it is. Top speed is about 65. There's a big gap between 4th and 5th. 4th will run 45 up any hill you find. 5th will struggle on the long/tall hills so sometimes you may need to downshift.
If the engine is cold you need to use starting fluid to get it to crank. I don't really know anything about diesels, but I think it needs a new glowplug. Other than this minor annoyance, the truck feels mechanically sound. I do not know the model # or power specs of the engine.
It could be a project for someone, or it could be used exactly as-is. I was happy with the purchase, and looking forward to towing with it... unfortunately, plans change. The truck's been in storage for quite a few months - taken out every few weeks for a drive. It's located in Raleigh, NC and can be looked at or driven anytime.
I'm trying to figure out how to get both the truck and my car to VIR next month, but without a trailer it's a little hard.

I've put the truck on ebay. If you could help me spread the word about it I'd greatly appreciate it.
