Ok, the PS2 should have a set of RCAs coming out. Take the yellow, and hook it into the video 1 input on the monitor. Then on the sound, you should be able to pick up an Alpine Ai-Net to RCA adaptor at any local ALpine dealer for about $20. Plug this up to the Ai-Net, plug the red and white into it from the PS2, the turn on the Aux fucktion on the Alpine and enjoy the game!
On concealing the TV, Id just cut a piece of ABS and find someway to attatch it while not in use.

i dont think my alpine deck has an aux option.
what if that happens. and will i have to unplug one of my amps??
thanks

actually i think i do have an aux output. when i change from cd to tuner i have to also click thru aux - game. is this what i need??
so if i do have aux on my deck (alpine cda 7873) all i need is:
Playstation 2
Any LCD Monitor
AC Inverter
Alpine Ai-Net Adapter
then this would be the wiring:
Plug the AC Inverter into the cig. lighter.
Plug the power cord from the PS2 into the AC inverter.
Plug the yellow cord from the PS2 into the LCD monitor.
Plug the red and white cords from the PS2 in to the Alpine Ai Net Adapter
so what does the Alpine Ai Net Adapter plug into?? the aux output on my deck??
also, is having 2 amps in addition to this okay??
what do you think of this lcd monitor and how would i hook this up(besides the yellow cord coming from my PS2??)

and one last question, where could i buy longer RCA cords that are designed for in car use??
thanks alot, im new to all this video stuff.

can someone please tell me how the lcd screen gets power?? most of them say DC 12v. does that mean i have to plug it into a dc inverter?? i just bought one but, it only has one plug in so that will be for my ps2, do i have to buy another one??
thanks

you need a head unit that has 2 aux outputs, one for the screen and one for the ps2.for the screen u would just hook the power wire up to the remote wire of the head unit if it has enough wattage to turn it on, if not, then u would have to hook it up to the main power or remote wire and then turn on the screen everytime u use it then as u said hook the one wire to the screen,(if it has the input) and the other to one of the aux hookups from th headunit if u cant figure it out go to a local sterio store that deals with studd like that, not best buy or cirtcuit sity

If it says 12V it should be safe to plug directly into the cars 12V system. Just be sure to put 2 amp fuse or so inline with the power wire.
