Hi guys. You probably don't remember me, but I do read the forum regularly, I just don't post.
Anyway, I recently contacted Chris Shenefield by email. He got back to me today and wrote that his wife is in the hospital in ICU. It sounds pretty serious, so I thought I'd post it here. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Best wishes Chris & Wife.

aha... now i see why so many poeple know about my wife. Thanks for the kind words from everyone btw. My wife, Debbie, was unfortunate enough to lose one of her lungs to sickness 17 years ago, and a 2 or so years ago she was diagnosed with pulminary hypertension... as a result of only having the 1 lung. And now she wears oxygen 24 hours a day. That's the reader's digest version.
Anyway, she got a bad cold about 1 week ago that put her into the ICU on a ventilator (breathing machine). She's still in ICU tonight, but she's thankfully off the ventilator and smiling again. This is the 3rd time in 2 years she's been on a ventilator; so I'm starting to become familiar with how it works and what a precious medical tool it has been for Deb.
So, many many thanks for your thoughts and prayers. I'm sure Deb is going to be amazed at what a celebrity she has become.
Sincerely,
Chris

Serious stuff, glad to hear she's off the ventilator and doing better. My little boy was on the ventilator after he was born in November, so I empathize with you on all the stress that it adds to your life. I hope she continues to do well and wish you both the best going forward!!!
