good intake manifold for b16a
Any opinions on what manifolds are good for the b16a? I looking at comparing the specs mostly. But any opinions or advice on Skunk2, Type R or any other manifolds would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.
if your going n/a then either of those 2 manifolds are really good and really close in specs. dependiing on what your going for i would go with the skunk2 manifold, i have and ITR manifold on my b16 and it does good but i want to go with the skunk2.

I hate to burst you bubble but Skunk2 copied the ITR.
The AEBS is a very good intake manifold

Why does the skunk2 or the itr force you to get a teg fuel rail?
and no the AEBS does not and the skunk2 or the ITR should not as well.
If you need to use a different rail use a teg rail.

I just put the AEBS on my b16 CRX. You will need to have a b16a2 or Teg fuel rail. Also if you want to use the fast idle you will need a 2nd gen throttle body or type R. If you want to use your stock TB use the 90-93 LS teg TB gasket. I used the Hondata Gasket and bypassed the coolant lines for the ICV and Fast Idle. I feel like I got major gains. On a FI setup on a first gen intake you will notice a great difference. First Gen b16's Intake manifolds are prob the worst on and bseries. Having a larger plenium and more air so the 4th runner doesn't starve. I love it and for the price a great choice. See ben@importparts.com for a great deal!
