the difference between 96-98 and 99-00 lips on Civic HB Ek's?

my friend offered me a front type r lip for my EK but theres a problem. my ek is a 99-00 and his lip is for 96-98

. is there anyway i would be able to fit it or is it impossible? my car is currently in the shop so i cant test it out. is there anyone out there that can help me?

Go to http://www.jdm$hit.com. You can compare the 2 different front lips there. Oh yah, replace that $ with an "S".

"edit" I have don't know if the dimensions and mounting points are the same.
