Does anyone have any info on this car (motor spec, suspension)

 

almost looks like a One-make car from japan... though it's not.

 

Although it does appear to be a road race car, you might try the Civic forum. I'm guessing someone there will recognize it.

 

Looks like a shop/(trade)show car that has the track/race look, probably a 5-Zigen dealer. Appearance forum might know too.

I'm noticing:
1) Tinted rear windows even though they appear to be plexi/lexan.
2) No cage.
3) Passenger side Bride seat.
4) No number panel, sanctioning body, class identifiers, etc.
5) Parking permit/air freshner hanging from rear view.

That's one of those uber cool showcars chock full of JDM "race" parts.

check the stupid street, it was in there a while back .. its a US civic it has a gsr motor in it i think ... nothing special .. just got stickers everywhere .. but i guess thats the cool thing these days.

i saw it once around and it had a lsvtec
mostly boltons, go-zigen c.overs, cwest kit.
nice ek

 

all i know is thats it looks fast and its got dope wheels

Haha, very observant.

My guess would be the same. Probably a 5-zigen dealer's show car.

It was AKT USA's show car before they were bought out by 5Zigen. The car supposely had a B18C stroked to 2 liters if i remember correctly. It made a lot of appearences at local and tradeshows. Last I heard...the car was stolen from the parking lot right outside of AKT's shop. sad.

of course...this was a couple of years ago. around 1998 or so.
