alright if i turbo a 91 si motor without vtec or if i turbo a vtec d series motor what is going to be the diference is vtec going to be that much more of a gain that i should get it or would the si motor be fine because if its not that much more of a gain then si is the way to go thanks for any help

 

20 more base horsepower, higher lift cam, better flowing head... SOHC VTEC turbo is worth it.

 

you could always mini me the si motor then turbo it.

I am not positive but from what I hear doesnt the A6 head flow better?

 

i doubt it, and unless i see some flowbench numbers, i will continue to doubt it.

 

Wouldn't the change over to a mini-me bump up the compression and be bad for the turbo?

Then again, I'm currently developing a junkyard turbo, so price is subconsciously on my mind.
