Default anyone here use their ITR as a daily commute car?

If so what kind of milage do you get?

I see a PY ITR everyday on my commute and I'm considering getting one for use as a commuter car and second autox car.

its happens to be a good commuter car but the one problem is, As soon as you leave it somewhere public its gone

added:

I used my caR everyday for 6 days a week to get to work and home ,about 300 miles aweek- But since I have a VERY heavy foot I would have to put $5.oo in every day

Other wise if you don't mine the Bling on the way to work its great.

Yeah its the only car I have. As long as you are not getting on it all the time gas mileage is good. I dont keep track of mpg but I would say about 25mpg.

The town I live in is small so I havent had an issue with theives. I work in a much bigger city (more populated) but where I work the whole front of the building is glass and I park right out front in plain site of course so nothing goes on with my car that I cant see.

that's similar to what I'm getting in my current commuter... well mid to low 20's

20mpg would be great!

as for the lead content I save that for the autox

On the highway im usually within low 30's mpg, in the city ill get mid 20's pending that i shift early and dont beat on it much around town. Mostly i get low 20's in the city because i always have the urge to rev the **** out it from time to time.

25-30mpg depending on how spirited I drive...this also coming from a car with the ATS 4.9 fd. My best to date has been ~32mpg, and my worst is about 12mpg on track days.

I never get 30 mpg, but I hit only surface streets on the way to work. Freeway is pretty rare. Usually get about 230 on a full tank. Beater is on the way though, so the R won't be used anymore as basic transportation.

I daily commute my itr as well. I get around 23-26mpg on the streets and about 28-33mpg on the freeway.

Do you guys/ladies ever try to avoid manhole covers, pot holes, or cracks in the road when you drive?

I daily drive mine, with the ATS FD and I get about 25mpg around town. I daily drive to work, never hit VTEC in the morning, too damn tired. Then there's too much traffic on the way home.

everday-rain, snow, whatever- but I don't work to far away so I get good MPG

my commute is like 22-24 minutes the whole day, back and forth.

I once got up to about 250 MPG w/ sensible driving and no-vtec

Yep only car I got.

Do about 300 to 330 miles per week (total) Normally have to fill up 3 times every 2 weeks at roughly £30 a tank, dont know what milage I get, all I have noticed is that economy is a little worse in winter (strange as all my previous cars were the other way round better in winter).

Most of the miles are done on the motorway between 90 and 110 MPH. Oh and no real problems with thieving scum bags over here.

Ian

PS car stock rear can

NEVER rain or snow commuter except sunny dry day to work sometime. Around 23mpg with highway and city hard rev combine.
I advice u buy a beater for your daily commute.
