Thinking about buy a Civic Hybrid. anyone have one?
How do you like it? It will be 99% used as a commuter car. My one way commute is about 35miles. With about 8 miles of hills. What kind of gas milage are you getting?
Is the cabin quiet?
Please post your impressions.

16 gal twice a week is not as bad as you think. when i drove my car alot and hit boost all the time i was getting worse gas milage than that.
what kind of car do you have now?

I love how people on Honda-Tech are so narrow-minded that when they hear the words Civic and Hybrid in the same sentence, they immediately think of a Civic with a swap
From his question I am assuming that he meant the Civic Hybrid 4-door... anyways, I am sure the Civic Hybrid gets great gas mileage, I see a TON of them around my area. They wouldn't sell so well if the gas mileage wasn't great. Not to mention its a 4door, so you can haul all your friends and your **** around

yeah that is the EPA rating but the way EPA tests is
but mainly i'm wondering how much the hills that I have to go up hurt the milage.

ahahahah yeah I like it wayyy better than the Prius.
my neighbor had the first prius and now the new prius. it gets better milage supposedly but I like the look of the civic better

natural gas is just to scarce around where I live. which is surprising considering the number of tree huggers around here that drives H2s and Suburbans hahaha
that's sarcasm

my uncle owns a civic hybrid and i love it. its really quiet...you can't even hear the engine crank over when you start the car. the car is extremely slow (80hp)...but your buying the car for efficient gas mileage...not performance. i'd recommend buying one if you got the money and need a daily commuter

dont they have a natural gas one out too?</TD></TR></TABLE>
I have seen the natural gas ones at a local dealership, but I think they were shipped there to be purchased by a company for use, not public distribution. They had a whole fleet of them, but I haven't seen any natural gas ones driven on the road as of now...atleast around my area.

I test drove one i couldnt tell the car was even on. and i stalled it and you just put it back into first gear and it turns the car back on. I loved it but I didnt have the money to get one.....
