Quick question about oil consumption

I owned a Del Sol recently, and noticied the high oil consumption at high rotation (about 1 lit each 1500km).
It doesnt make any smoke, and dont drops nothing.
Is it normal?

Get a compression test and leakdown test done...

check you coolant for discoloring and or oil if you find oil in your coolant then it's bad new. blown head gasket...

i might have that backwards. it might be coolant in your oil...

I can't remember...
