ex/si tranny, mini me (if u want mad vtec), maybe some port/polish headwork, cam (as mentioned above)... turbo and if you wanna go cheap just source your parts from a eclipse/talon. thats what i'm doing now + tranny and some head, fuel and other misc work. search some and you'll find answers

if you're looking to stay with with that motor, or at least a d-series.. then an ex/si tranny is a must! (assuming its a 5spd.)

Get an Ex/SI tranny. and then make your own turbo kit. i was running 7.5 till i blew my headgasket because i had a big air bubble in my coolent lines. i forgot to bleed it, and went on a 1.5hr drive, and was in boost the hole time.

i was running 0-60 in 7sec, and 0-90 in 15 sec. so 15 flat isn't bad considering it was a stock engine, tranny and CLUTCH. i glazed the clutch and somehow brought it back to life.

i had a total of 2000 in the car. 92 civic sedan, Nice CDplater, 1600watt amp, sub, original engine was shot so i bought a used DX motor for 200. so u can peice your own kit together for about 800bucks. mine even had a FMIC and custom exhaust.

EX/SI tranny, 10 psi on a custom turbo kit, upgrade your exhaust, and enjoy it.

you would be better off to invest the money towards the turbo setup than the head IMO.....although it is a good mod you will be looking at spending $200-$500 and closer to the $500 range if you do a really nice job and use new gaskets,etc.... so you could be halfway to your turbo set-up with that $500 and you wont have to worry about swapping in a si/ex trans($2-300)because the long gears wont really matter with the boost. so now you have $800 toward your kit and with the time you save not doing the head/trans mods you can get a job and make some more cash towards the turbo. judging by your questions i can kind of gauge your honda knowledge so i would suggest a greddy or apexi kit because of their simplicity.

just read up and boost that ****. you will be grinning ear to ear
