Default JDM S1 4.40 final Drive swapped into USDM S1

I have been trying to think of what to do with the synchro-beat JDM s1 tranny that I have. I currently have a B16a in my rex that has been tuned at 182 hp at the wheels at around 9100 rpm (built with skunk stage 2's camshafts/valvetrain, 11.8cr and tuned on hondata). Well the problem its I am running the great 90 integra ls tranny with the hf style gearing. I was wondering if I would be able to swap the 4.40 final drive out of the JDM s1 and put it into my usdm S1 ls tranny? I understand that the gears in the usdm s1 are already longer than the jdm s1 but the final drive is alot shorter which inturn should make the ls gears similar to that of the jdm s1 after the final drive swap. The input shaft is the same sized and the spline counts are identical. Is this possible or not?

probably possible, but i dont think the FD difference will help the gearing out enough.

I think it will give the tranny acceleration inbetween the jdm s1 and the usdm s1 which would be good enough for me.
Any more input on this?
