H22a in a 98 Civic. Question about AC and power steering.
i believe you can keep them both.
go to hasport.com they sell a kit to put an H22 into civic's. With the kit it's a simple bolt in process, and you don't even need custom axles. All you need is an accord half shaft, and use integra axles, do the wiring and it's pretty much just a b series swap.
good schtuff

i don't know what they have told you but ive got a 99 h22a in my 96 ek. if barely fits under 1/2 inch between each side, firewall, ac, underdrive pully, hood, and the oil pan sits 6 inches lower than stock and 1 foot forward so the pan will hit the speed bumps first if your low.
don't expect to keet your radiator fan, or ac or powersteering. the h22a alternator sits where the ac radiator is. unless you had lots of time for custom fabricating, you only get the bare essentials.

You dont need AC or power steering? Heh..
I live in the desert and AC is of no concern, If you want to go fast certain sacrifices have to be made.
