Default Question on Shifters

I have a cheap no name short shifter that recently broke and I just have a couple questions on the stock Type R shifter. First from my understanding all the 94+ integra shifters are the same gs,ls,gsr, type r someone correct me if Im wrong. Secondly how short are the throws with the stock shifter Ive heard its no where close to as far as a stock civic shifter. The reason I ask is I now have to decide weather or not to get another short shifter prob would go with the skunk2 if I did or just try and find an integra shifter. Also I have ITR shift linkage not sure if that causes shorter throws or not but I know its definately different from other B series shift lingage. The shifts seemed shorter than my B16 linkage I had on my old swap, but it coulda just been because itd been 3 months since I last drove a car with a short shifter?

Yeah I was leaning towards the teg shifter, but can someone confirm that the integra shifter is noticably shorter than a stock civic shifter. Someone with an R has to have a civic as there daily driver . Its been so longs since Ive driven one I cant even remember.

the ITR shifter has alot shorter of a throw then a civic one, now it all depends on which civic we're talking about

yep if you have a bseries civic it will work fine but if you have a d-series civic the shifter will need modification to work in the sohc linkage...... lemme know if you want a shift lever ive got a stock GSR lever that i would let go cheap..... pm me with an offer if you want it

Thanks for the replies.

My other civic is a 95 dx and that has a huge distance in between gears. My short shifter with the ITR linkage was almost too short it was just a no name shifter like I said earlier it seems shorter than it did with my standard b series linkage could just be in my head though. Anyways will prob go with a stock shifter for now anyways as there a lot cheaper than the skunk2.

I only use the B&M Edge shifters. They work well, shift great, don't break, and don't cost a lot.
