Is it possible to have identical badge numbers for different year?
I was just browsing around ITRCA and found a 2000 ITR with the same badge number as mine. Odd. 01-1117
What's the deal, you type r freaks?

Yes
Each year started at 0001 and went up from there, n00b.

because each year started with number 0001. Chris N answered that above.

I think he meant that an 00 had the same badge as his 01, 01-####..
that WOULD be odd.. perhaps they got a replacement.. I bought a blank badge to have my ITR's number engraved on it. I think Ausmith has the original, so then there'd be two 98-0055 badges running aruond..

I took it to mean there is an 00-1107 and an 01-1107 and 98-1107. obviously no 97 since they didn't go that high.
The first two digits represent the year as we all know, so i don't see how its possible to have a 2000 have an '01' badge number. If that's the case.... its either a mistake by someone who got a blank badge, an idiot owner who made a number up, an idiot who doesn't know what year car they have, or .... i hate to say this... a stolen badge????

I'm glad we agree
So i re-read the post. 01-1117 or something like that
I'm guessing a mistype. Or an idiot.

Sorry for the OT post but since you're talkin about owners of ITR's and their numbers, I know the owner of a PY ITR #01-0001... He used to have a built GSR and his parents got him the ITR... It's completely stock, and his dad won't let him mod it... It only has like 20k miles... I'm not positive, but something rediculously low... I'm not sure if he's a member on here or not...?
