Snow Day!!!
Heh,
Woke up to this wonderful snowy day, hopped in the car plowed mine and my neighbors driveway with my front lip. My snow tires seem to work really good in this mess, and I think the FMIC is liking it...

Nope, sure won't, but it'll make you overheat in short order because it's blocking airflow to the radiator
. Doesn't anyone else here watch the WRC and take note of the single biggest crippling problem in the snow legs?
Hit a snow drift at 80mph, choke your radiator, overheat and lose 3 minutes fixing it...if you didn't fry your turbo

Good thing I'm not part of WRC because I would be beating everyone then
.
Coolant temps remained in the 175'f-185'f, air temps were in the 60'F@idle and roughly 55'F well boosting range all day driving around. The air comes in from the huge open space under the engine bay between the bumper and the engine and blows through a FAL puller fan. Not that much different then using a block off plate at the track on a drag car...
It actually worked really good, not that I suggest driving like this anyway, just though it was funny, and I did notice a considerable drop in both coolant temps and air temps. Maybe I should do some engineering for WRC
.
The FMIC works good even without the snow so I can't complain. It's 8"x32"x3" unfortunitly my opening in my bumper is only about 5.5". I don't want to hack up my bumper for the few extra inches...
Non-snow doused..

Yeah I hear ya get a carbon lip, ditch the trunk for a hatch, and get a carbon wing and paint the car green and throw on some rota's and I'd have the most popular car on HT right.
But on a serious note, I'm not a big fan of my lip but I haven't seen any that I like better yet, so it stays for now...
