is it mechanical? hard to maintain?

It is fairly difficult to install initially but after that its a peice of cake.
It weighs 44 lbs, is removed easily by one person and stores anywhere.
Down side is they are about 2800 installed.

it is really easy to remove and put it back on after it's installed?
about how long does it take? ... oh, and the rear, is it glass or plastice for the window?
