will a 95 or 96 prelude si tranny work on a 98+ prelude?
hey guys im looking to do a tranny swap from auto to manual on my 98ss prelude, and i was wondering if a prelude 95 or 96si tranny would work on my car... and even if it does... whats the difference... will it run differently than a 98 tranny? are there any pros and cons? plz help me out... im a nooooob~

well since it's not a sh model it doesn't have atts,
so the tranny should work, but the h22 tranny has better
gearing for all motor than the h23 tranny that would come out of an si.

Yes they interchange with each other, However the SI tranny is better suited for boost. You probably will not notice much of a change with the SI tranny, if you are staying NA get the VTEC tranny.
