Default What can be swapped into my EF from a 2g teg?

(89 civic DX hatch)

I know someone who's parting out a 2G teg and he's giving me anything I want for dirt cheap (minus motor and tranny)

I'm wondering what I should get?

I was thinking the following would be cool:

-Teg rear disc brakes
I assume I will need the prop valve, ebrake cable, rear compensator arm etc.

-Teg front brakes
Apparently only the calipers are needed, as they will fit on the stock knucle???

-Teg rear sway bar
Will this bolt up to my DX before I do rear disc brakes? After?

-Cruise control
I assume I will need the steering wheel, computer, actuator and cable

- Teg steering rack and power steering compressor (I want a more agressive steering...and since the rack is poower anyways, might as well)
Can I keep my DX tie rod ends as they are brand new?

Any other suggestions on what I should keep from the teg? Will the seats fit?

I would not suggest you use the Teg compensator arm....the swaybar will fit though, my friend added the Teg rear swaybar to his 90 hatch...

ok.

Will it bolt up to a dx tho? I hear that the dx control arms dont have the holes for the sway bar???

so for a rear disc swap I basically only need the "rear knucles" from the teg (and prop valve and ebrake cable)

For the rear disc swap, you need the trailing arms, prop valve and e-brake cables. Also, try and get the Teg MC and brake booster as well, and I think you got the other arms mixed up. Get Si rear LCAs if you want to add a sway bar later.

for my rear swap all used all da components but the compensator, and i used the brake master cylinder and booster. on the front im running sir knuckles with DC rotors and brake pads. alignment and toe are fine front and back.

If your doing the rear brake swap i would suggest using the brake booster and master cylinder of the teg also.

so what wlse could fit?

I've found one DA6 front clip with B16A1 which is very cheap, bodyparts and dash still looking good, wonder if they could fit in my EF2 without much modification.

i would do a front end conversion. it almost bolts up, a little custom work never hurt anyone.

thanks for the info.

Dammit...so I guess I'll do a teg rear brake conversion, but leave the frotn brakes.

Wait: You guyes said I need to swap the knucle from the teg?

Does that mean I need to change my tie rod ends tho?
