Damn, you're a braver man than I am. I got a tach as one of my first mods for my ek hatchy.

EDIT: For gods sake though..you can pick up a whole cluster for under 100 bucks..why not do it and be able to rev it to the redline and be able to see what's going on with your car?

You're ignorant if you think getting a tach won't help.

(I had to go tachless for a while. It wasn't too bad.)

I dont have a tach, and it sux. I want a factory cluster, but they are so damn expensive on ebay, especially for one out of a manual car. I know its the same as one out of a auto, but i dont want those damn shift position lights on mine. Oh well, i'll find a deal sooner or later i suppose.

Keep your head up. I got a cluster from a manual EX and a y8 complete intake manifold for right about 100 bucks last year. Also, in the Eks you can put in a CRV cluster.

I'm running w/out a tach. I really want to get one, but I can't believe how much they cost. I'll probably just end up swapping out the gauge cluster.

mmm, yeah, that's what i thought till i got a tach.

if you're boosting in two weeks, its gonna be a completely different car. i'd definitly want a tach or shift light to get used to that.
